About Miller's Christmas Tree Equipment
There is an old mountain proverb that goes like this: "Use it up, wear it out, and make do or do without."
In many ways that saying explains the history behind this "new" company. Our founder, Tom Miller, started making tree planting and harvesting equipment soon after he started our parent company, Tom Miller's Tree Farm and Nursery in 1982.
Mountain folks have a reputation of being independent and if we need a tool or machine, we just go out and build us one. As we all know while that statement is full of folklore, the times have changed. Our time is more valuable managing the farm; it is much more economical these days to purchase equipment that has been well-built and designed for the intended task.
Before Tom started farming, he was a Journeyman Machinist. With our experience and well-equipped machine shop, we build tree equipment to help the modern day tree farmer save time and money through mechanization.
